i met up with sing ning, jun hong and wee loon in the evening and we watched 10,000BC.




they got me a chocolate cake from the bakery shop sing ning was working at. it was surprisingly delicious!
guess where we had the cake? in a garden with mrs goh and her dog. they sang the bday song for me, together with chuppy barking along.

i went to jurong entertainment centre with my PAE classmates. i'll update photos as soon as i grab them.
we watched august rush. we were caught in amazement when the movie started to reach its climax. the actor, Freddie Highmore, who portrays a boy genius in the movie is really mesmerizing. he starred in charlie and the chocolate factory as charlie bucket. the best part about august rush is it's music. it has a mix of classical and contemporary music in it. we all loved the show very much!

met up with rebecca, racheal and charmaine for lunch. charmaine recommended a hong kong cafe called streets cafe situated in bukit panjang plaza.

after lunch we went shopping for a dress for becca's dinner & dance. she found a pink dress which she hesitated to buy initally, coz of the price and the possibility of finding a better dress. but i thought that dress really suited her figure well. well, she still bought it in the end.

i thank God for making my birthday so awesome.

i've been very very busy with school. i return home late and there's so much stuff to do. somehow i like being busy. for now, i don't miss the holidays coz the feeling of having nothing to do is like being a useless person. getting busy gives me a sense of accomplishment. i just look forward to more challenges ahead though i know that i will not fail to complain.
i'd like to blog more, but it's difficult to juggle so many things. this is an area i'm gonna have to work on.
first step, is to cut down on watching cable tv even though most of the time i watch educational shows. it is time consuming and they make me doze off. not because it's boring but coz i'm in a relaxed mode when i'm watching tv and i tend to doze off easily especially after a long day at school.
i also have to work on my spiritual life with God. poor time management leaves me no time for quiet time. i'm gonna be baptised (affirmation of faith) this sunday and i hope i can go with a prepared heart for God. it's not something to be taken lightly.

i'm so busy that i've been working on this blog post for days. i couldn't finish writing it.
now i gotta rush.
