is it all a scheme?

the search for the JI terrorist, mas selamat, is taking so long that i'm beginning to think
that perhaps... everything is a ploy by the authorites.
here are some of speculations:
  1. he has been dead since the beginning of his "so-called escape". maybe the officers in the detention centre had unwittingly tortured him to death in order to squeeze the information from him about his JI network. in order to cover up, they report his escape and would probably place his dead corpse in some long kang (drain) and announce to the public that he has died from starvation or dehydration outside or something. however on the contrary, there was a witness who saw him after his escape. but was there really a witness? or did the witness mistaken the person for mas selamat?
  2. the authorities intentionally release mas selamat from the detention centre. the security was purposely loosened so he could. they actually placed some micro- chip in him so they can detect his location and he is unaware of the chip. the purpose of letting him go is to track him down when he contacts his JI network and hopefully nab his whole entire network. sounds like some movie!
all this is based on assumptions and has no basis at all.

why all these speculations?
coz there is hardly any possibility that mas selamat could actually escape that easily and there is no official reason or explanation on how he could have escaped. singapore is well-known for our security, when such a thing happens, you can't help but wonder if our authorities are either useless and inefficient or something fishy is going on.

but perhaps mas selamat noes some magic or sorcery! or he is just an expert in jail breaking considering he has escaped captivity a couple of times.

sometimes, not everything the media says is true...
