Graduation Day

well...i'm not supposed to complain.

BUT I WANT TO COMPLAIN!!

graduation day was *yawn*...boring.
all we did was sit there in the hall and sweat. and looking at slide shows, listening to speeches, watching happy and some awkward faces on stage while they received their prizes.

there were sweet moments though, when we viewed our class' slide shows during the graduation ceremony. tears made their way through tear ducts into the eyes of individuals when the waves of emotions swept over the students and teachers.

for me, my tears stopped there. for some, tears probably flowed down their rosy cheeks like waterfalls.

i'm glad nobody played the graduation song by vitamin c. i'd cry like siao.

and our graduation ceremony included awarding students for academic achievements in the prelims.
now i have something to boast about!!

i haven't received any awards in school for years (excluding edusave merit and scholarship awards). never would i have expected to receive one on my graduation day.
i got an improvement award...improvement in L1R5 aggregate (from 23 in mid yr to 18 in my prelims). it really isn't anything big compared to people who topped subjects. but it means a lot to me to finally achieve something and be awarded for it on my last day of school.
and the award was a $10 popular voucher, which wen hui expected.
this is definitely something pleasant to take away with me on my graduating day.

that's the reason why i shouldn't be complaining.
