Horrible taxi driver

there's one particular taxi driver who really pissed me off today.
jeslin, joey, wenhui and i decided to take a cab to the woodlands stadium this morning for our sch's sports day.

reason? this:










we had to bring this "banner" to the event. imagine 4 ppl carrying umbrellas decorated with cotton wool walking past you. u'd probably take a second look or stare at these weird characters. and they wear the same t-shirt which is RED...you can't miss them.
so we definitely do not want to face such a situation in the bus or mrt.
even waiting at the taxi stand for a cab was a little too much to bear.

there were abt maybe 6 ppl queuing in front of us at the stand. we thought we'd be late due to the long wait. but soon we were the second in the queue. i thought wad a great way to start the day when the guy before us offered to let us take the cab coz he was waiting 4 someone.
excitedly, i hopped onto the cab first and told the uncle where we were going.
i said, "uncle, 去 woodlands stadium." (maybe that's the reason why he's so mean to us! i called him uncle. wad did he expect? "handsome, 去 woodlands stadium"? *rolls eyes*)

a while after we got onto the cab, i thought, hm...unlike some other drivers i've met, this uncle doesn't chat...not too friendly, but fine, wadever.

never did i expect the driver to be so despicable!
he took the longer route to our destination, wenhui pointed this out. even a 16 yr old kid noes how to get there by the shorter route. anyway, that's not the worst. maybe he really didn't noe...

the thing that really pisses me off is that he drove very very super duper uper sloooowww.....on purpose obviously!
it's like i can even run faster than the speed we're going at...
i noticed that all the cars around us were passing us quickly and we stopped at every! EVERY! EVERY! single traffic light...
i felt the urge to tell him to drive faster...now that i think of it...i should have. but i juz didn't wanna make matters worse.
but the anger really grew inside me when he continued with his nonsense. i tried to keep calm.



i'm gonna go cool off now.
