have u heard abt the green shopper contest held ytd and today? you should if u've read every corner of the friday newspaper, or if you've seen the green shopper contest posters at supermarkets like giant, cold storage or sheng siong etc.
the national environment agency have spent $20,000 on advertising it.

let me tell u what it's like to try to spot green shoppers for 2 consecutive days.
i've been standing outside sheng siong supermarket with ailin for hours ytd and today. we've been trying to spot ppl using reusable bags and not using plastic bags at all. and we've only spot 1 green shopper ytd and 1 today and rewarded them with $10 sheng siong voucher. there were others who used these bags but they bagged their stuff in plastic bags and put it into their reusable bags therefore they were disqualified. the waiting for that environmental friendly shopper was boring and all the sheng siong staff had their eyes on us, wondering y we stayed there for so long. fortunately, i have my handphone to entertain me.
and we were crazy over the otah. we ate like erm...let's see...four on the 1st day and 6 on the 2nd day. Woah! we ate 10 in 2 days!

conclusion: REDUCE USE OF PLASTIC BAGS & USE REUSABLE BAGS!
