back from taiwan! i can't upload the pictures from my cam to the computer coz its still win98. not compatible with the cam driver. ouh man...i'm waiting for a new comp my mom's gonna get in jan 07. happy waiting!

back to the point...
this trip was actually my mom's company trip. there are like 90+ and this round they allowed children and spouses to tag along. *beams*
for my mom it was free but it costs S$800+ for me to go. i had to fork out abt S$150 for expenses. so i could buy anything i wanted. heh.
we stayed at my grandma's house in bedok dat nite b4 coz it was nearer to changi airport. my grandma gave me an angpao for safe journey. these elderly ppl ah...you all got alot of money is it? :)
we had to wake up early in the morn and reach the airport by 6.15am. my mom's colleague came to fetch us as he stayed around bedok as well. after we gathered and got checked in our luggage, a few of us went to burger king for a light breakfast before getting on the plane.
i was disappointed i didn't get the window seat. but i was still too happy for any sulking. esp when the plane is taking off, the feeling is amazing. wow.

also, i was excited abt the airplane food. silly me. but its really cute with the way they present the food. they give us two choices but majority chose the omelette with sausage set which comes with coffee/tea with appetizer and desert. all in a little tray.
of course, wad would spore airline be without entertainment for passengers? i watch john tucker must die and also my super-ex girlfriend but only half-way of dat.
as my mom was sitting on the third seat from the window, i took the chance to sit with her to look out the window when the two uncles on her left left their seat. they were my mom's frens so they let us sit at their seat which was the window seat! the view above the clouds was beautiful. made me think alot. like how could God create something so vast and huge and...blue.
let's talk abt toilets. the lavatory was so tiny that a fat man wouldn't have any space to move at all.

next, we arrived at the airport and the tour bus brought us to taipei's danshui river den to danshui market. i tried the famous iron egg (not really sure wad it's called but it's definitely hadr like iron) . didn't really like it.

the tour guide gave us sometime to shop around. we bought some snacks and i also tried the fermented tofu (chou tou fu). it's not as smelly as the ones in spore.

we gathered back in the bus to go back to the hotel to check in. the sky was already dark at abt 5.30pm. but the time diff btw spore and taipei is like none.
after we checked in, we gathered at the lobby and went to a restaurant for chinese dinner. they served abalone ya noe! den the tour agency hosted games for us while we had dinner.

later, we were brought to shihlin night market where we tried the XXL Crispy Chicken and the mango pao pao bing and pao pao nai cha (milk tea) and some other snacks. i really regret eating so full at dinner dat i dun have enuf space in my stomach to store all the delicacy at shihlin night market. there was so much so eat! ARGHHHHHHH! *knocks head on table*

we took a taxi back with my mom's frens as we didn't want to take the tour bus back coz it leaves at 11.30pm. we were allowed to go back as late as we wanted to. the bed was so comfy i fell asleep immediately.
