The day I've been waiting for...

This is the day that the Lord has made and i will rejoice and be glad in it!

10th May, i've been waiting for it to arrive. today, the birds suddenly seem so lively, adorable and cute, the sun shined so beautifully and cheerily and not too overbearingly bright, the green trees looked overjoyed as if their flowers had bloomed, waving their branches in the air, and the bee hoon i had for lunch at the coffeshop tasted extremely good, the winds blew in my hair so gently and friendly...
this is the last day of my mid yr exams...the finish line. the last time i'll ever have secondary school mid yr exams. though there's the upcoming o levels and prelims...haix.

by the way, the amaths paper 2 was really challenging man...

also, i just had a few friends over today and we watched blood diamond on dvd. it shows how diamonds cause countless deaths in Africa...more accurately the greed in people. and many children in Africa are also forced to become child soldiers, trained to KILL and DESTROY. this chaos in Africa is really devastating. so many innocent deaths...women and children.

why are diamonds so in demand and valuable? it's just a hard clear stone. if i had it, i wouldn't even wear it. it only invites greedy monsters. it's not even practical to me. maybe i'm still just a kid. i dun really fancy diamond accessories. perhaps i might in future.
